Warranty


Warranty Clauses:
The following warranty protects the products from assembly or fabrication defects for period of __________________(__) months from the date of purchase, which will be determined by de date of the invoice. During this periods, the cost of installation or substitution of defected parts will also be covered.

The client or person authorized to receive the merchandise accepts the terms and conditions as started:
1. Is understood as warranty the substitution of parts or components of the purchased goods that have fabrication or assembly defects.
2. This warranty will automatically be declined when there is suspicion that the harm was provoked by: incorrect installation, negligence or bad servicing, fortuitous cases, force majeure, any natural event (Wind, flood, lightning, insects, earthquakes, animals, fires, etc.) accidents and bumps given to the system, deteriorations or disrepairs of components, repair or intervention made to the product by unauthorized ECOX personnel; in general, bad uses, negligence, alterations, modifications, accidents or high or low voltage.
3. Parts and accessories subjects to daily use deterioration, such as; buttons, filters, knobs, panels, batteries, etc, are excluded from the warranty.
4. The remote controls has a 30 days warranty.
5. If the products fails to work during the warranty period, authorized Ecox technicians will determine the cause of the failure. If it is determined that the defects is covered by warranty clause, ECOX or its representatives will repair the damage with no charge to the client, including spare parts needed for the correct operation of the unit.
6. If the problem is not covered by this warranty clause, the repair will be changed, and repair will only be made after writing approval of the client.
7. The units must be installed with a voltage protector. If this is not applied by the client´s decisions, ECOX will not take responsibility for the consequence, and the warranty will not come in effect for failure of the system due to its absence.
8. Any failure of the unit caused by lack of maintenance will not be covered by this warranty. It is recommended to clean the filters (if it applies) at least once every two weeks (or sooner if necessary) and perform a complete system preventive maintenance at least every 4 months.
9. Warranty is revoked when the line voltage has more than 10% variation under or over the established unit voltage.
10. For any warranty claim you must have the original invoice and warranty sheet.
